Equestrian Facility
Welcome to the Rancho Cielo Equestrian Facility located on the east side of Rancho Santa Fe and minutes to the Rancho Santa Fe Village. We are 10 minutes from where the Surf meets the Turf ~ I-5 & the Ocean (Del Mar Horse Park, Fairgrounds & Race Track).
We are a one of a kind Equestrian Facility that sits on a level 11 acres. See our Programs tab for all available trainers at our ranch.
The facility has 2 jumping arenas, 1 regulation size dressage arena, a western ring and a multipurpose/schooling arena. With multiple training programs, there's so much we offer!
The property is quiet, private and has access to miles of trails throughout picturesque Rancho Santa Fe.
We have multiple barns: a 10 stall which includes 6 in & outs, another 10 stalls with large tack rooms, fully covered 12x24 stalls, a 20 stall with tack room. We also have sheltered corrals ranging in size from 12x24 to 24x48 for your horses’ comfort.
Each property area is serviced with cross ties, wash racks, tack / feed / storage sheds, lunge rings, and turnouts.
Rancho Cielo Equestrian Facility opened its doors in 2016 and we have worked diligently to make vast improvements throughout the property. We have upgraded all cross ties, wash racks, our 5 arenas, and storage areas.

Meet The Team
Graeme Dixon
Founding Owner
In loving memory of Graeme Dixon, our head trainer and life long equestrian who was a regular on the San Diego hunter/jumper circuit for over 25 years. Dixon grew up in the United Kingdom and learned to ride and care for horses in the thorough and structured Pony Club method, and in the British Horse Society method. Graeme operated the UK Equestrian riding school and training program for over a decade. He remains in our heart and is remembered fondly by his family, friends, "Barn Village", and the San Diego equestrian community.

Owner & Facilities Manager
With a Masters Degree in Business Administration from The University of Phoenix, and a long corporate career in Operations & Facilities Management, the transition to Rancho Cielo Equestrian Facility, has made for a great fit. Beginning in the January 2019 Karyl began to oversee the daily facility operations. She is the go-to point of contact for all facility needs, and if she doesn't have an immediate answer for you, she'll certainly get one!
